HOPE PERTH CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Hope Perth has ended 2012 with the celebration of love in the air! 80 people gathered into the heart of Victoria Park with a sense of peace, love and joy for the season. There were a number of new visitors that joined us in celebration and their happy faces lit up the church! There's nowhere else to be at this time of the year than to be soaked in the atmosphere of God's love. Our praise and worship session had lifted the joy of the Lord to a tremendous level.

We had the privilege of having Ps Brendan Kirby from Adelaide preaching and spurring us on our identity in Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 says "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light".

On Christmas Day, we would as a church and community like to remember ourselves as sons and daughters of Christ, belonging to him and not fearing to proclaim his name as our Father in heaven.



Ps Brendan heavily emphasised the need of being God fearing Christians, brave and courageous to spread the gospel to the unsaved. The sermon was closed with a lovely group of Carolers lifting their voices with such jubilee, followed by a lunch buffet, awesome fellowship and a dance performance by the adult working group – Aspire.
